Shannon Lakanenis assistant professor of English at Otterbein College where she teaches personal essay and memoir in the creative writing program, 20th-century American survey in the literary studies program, and the mysteries of human nature in the Integrative Studies program. Her essays and poetry have been published in North Dakota Quarterly, Indiana Review, Quarter After Eight and the unfortunately now defunct Elephants and Other Gods. Most recently she has been writing and producing digital essays and falling in fast love with A. A. Milne's nearly-forgotten nonfiction.
